Regional Centers
California has 21 community-based regional centers whose purpose is to provide assessments, determine eligibility for state services, and help individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. CHF works side by side with regional centers across the state to provide homes for individuals with disabilities.
Inland Regional Center
Inland Regional Center is a springboard to greater independence for people with developmental disabilities in the Inland Empire. We are a non-profit agency that has provided support to people with intellectual disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy since 1972.

Department of Developmental Services
The California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) works to ensure Californians with developmental disabilities have the opportunity to make choices and lead independent, productive lives as members of their communities in the least restrictive setting possible.
The Association of Regional Center Agencies (ARCA) represents California’s network of 21 independent, non-profit regional centers that advocate on behalf of and coordinate services for California’s over 350,000 people with developmental disabilities. The mission of ARCA is to promote, support, and advance regional centers in achieving the intent and mandate of the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act in providing community-based services that enable individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential and highest level of self-sufficiency.
Housing
There are many agencies and non-profit organizations that may be able to help you with your housing needs. CHF focuses only on building homes that are managed by care providers who provide licensed care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
San Bernardino County Housing Authority
The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino (HACSB) is one of the most progressive housing authorities in the Country and also the largest provider of affordable housing in San Bernardino County. HACSB proudly assists approximately 26,000 people, most of whom are seniors, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and children.
Riverside County Housing Authority
The Housing Authority of the County of Riverside (HACR) is a public agency chartered by the State of California to administer the development, rehabilitation or financing of affordable housing programs. The mission of the Housing Authority is to transform and promote healthy, thriving communities, re-ignite hope and restore human dignity through the creation and preservation of high quality and innovative housing and community development programs which enhance the quality of life and revitalize neighborhoods to foster self-sufficiency.
